Required Materials:
- Turquoise rough
- JB Weld
- Wax paper
- Green dop wax
- Zam
Tools:
- Slabbing and backing: Trim saw with 4 inch diamond blade, flat lap with 80 grit diamond lap, glass window pane 12×12 Dopping: Dop sticks, a variety of diameters from 3/8 inch to 3/16, and bamboo skewers all cut 4 inches long, torch with small tip, steel block, water container
- Cutting and grinding: Lapidary machine (arbor, motor, expanding drums, splash hoods, water bucket with pump and hoses to connect the pump with the splash hoods and a drain hose back to the bucket), diamond polishing belts in grits 220, 600, 1200, 3000
