Description

Capture your favorite stone beads on spiral-ended wire “spikes” that pass through the links in a chain! Double up strands to create a substantial necklace that you won’t want to take off. Here’s a tip: make a sample spike to gauge the length of wire pieces needed for the spikes. This simple project will be sure to turn heads.

Required Materials: 20-gauge copper craft wire, approximately 6′, 5mm x 10mm link cable chain, brass or copper: 25 ½” (about 88 links) and 14 ½” (about 52 links), and Stone beads (serpentine), 5mm x 8mm-6mm x 12mm, 48.

Tools Needed: Round nose pliers, chain nose pliers, wire snips, and 6mm OD jump rings, 2.
