Description

Named after the tulip bulb mania that spread through Holland in the seventeenth century, these bulb-shaped earrings are reminiscent of ornaments and lights, plus they have a way of making you long for spring planting. Use tubular peyote stitch to form 2 domes, and then zip them together to form a beaded bead.

  • metallic plum size 15° seed beads
  • metallic plum size 11° seed beads
  • blue iris 5×2.5mm 2-hole seed beads
  • purple velvet 4mm crystal bicones
  • topaz AB 10x14mm faceted crystal teardrops
  • gold-plated 2″ head pins
  • gold-plated 18x24mm ear wires
  • Smoke 6 lb braided beading thread
  • Thread conditioner

Tools: Scissors, Size 11 beading needle, Wire cutters, Flat-nose pliers, Round-nose pliers
