Work Byzantine chain maille weave to create dainty earrings embellished with colorful glass rings.

Required Materials:

  • 16-gauge AWG (1.2mm) 5/16″ (8.23mm) ID sterling jump rings, 2
  • 20-gauge AWG (.8mm) 1/8″ (3.25mm) ID sterling jump rings, 136
  • 20-gauge AWG (.8mm) 5/32″ (4.11mm) ID sterling jump rings, 6
  • 20-gauge AWG (.8mm) sterling wire, 5″
  • Preciosa pressed glass rings in green iris, 6
  • Flat-nose pliers, 2 pair
  • Chain-nose pliers, 2 pair
  • Flush cutters
  • Nail buffer or fine sandpaper
  • Permanent marker or 10mm mandrel
  • Hammer
  • Steel bench block
