Description

The textured, casual Torque Hat is available in slouch and beanie styles suitable for any road nomad. The band is worked in half linen stitch and is adjustable when paired with a leather snap closure.

Finished Size: 19¼ " circumference before installing snap and 7¼ (8¾ )" tall. Blue hat shown measures 7¼ " tall and gray hat shown measures 8¾ " tall.

Specific Yarn Used: Manos del Uruguay Alegría (75% superwash merino wool, 25% polyamide;
445 yd [405 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #A2419 blueberry or #A2540 kohl (gray), 1 skein. Yarn distributed by Fairmount Fibers.

Needles: Size 3 (3.25 mm): 16" circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Markers (m); one leather snap closure; matching thread; sewing needle; tapestry needle.

Gauge: 29 sts and 43 rnds = 4" in charted patt.
