Featuring filet insets and a beaded edge, this exuberant shawl allows for a range of styling options to add both warmth and elegance to any outfit. Be attentive to gauge and note that blocking will transform the shawl.

Finished Size: About 104″ wide and 18 1/2″ deep (excluding torch tip).
Yarn: Manos Del Uruguay Serena (distributed by Fairmount Fibers) (60% baby alpaca, 40% pima cotton; 170 yd [155 m]/1 3/4 oz [50 g]; 2): #S2177 cranberry, 6 skeins.
Hook: Size G/6 (4 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: Steel hook #9 (1.4 mm) (for applying beads); st markers; 218 seed beads (about 15 g), size 6/0; yarn needle; blocking wires; pins.
Gauge: 18 sts and 14 rows = 4″ in patt; blocked.
