Combine two techniques to create a colorful, textured focal.

Materials Needed to Complete this Project:

  • Enamel, counter or black (for the back)
  • Enamel, 2-3 transparent colors of choice
  • 22-gauge sterling silver disk, shape of choice (you may also opt to cut sheet metal)
  • 6" of 20-gauge fi ne silver wire
  • Holding agent (diluted) or Klyr-Fire
  • Pickle
  • 18" of sterling silver chain of choice
  • 1-3 6mm, 19-gauge sterling silver jump rings
  • Steel wool

Tools Needed to Complete this Project:

  • ENAMELING:
    • Sifter
    • Trivet
    • Spatula
    • Paint brush
    • Clean paper (magazine)
  • TORCHWORK:
    • Butane torch
    • Tripod with mesh 
    • Fire tweezers (cross-locking are best)
    • Soldering board of choice
  • METALSMITHING:
    • 2 chain-nose pliers
    • 2-hole draw-down punch
    • Chasing hammer
    • Bench block
    • Brass brush
    • Wire cutters
