Make the strap as long as you need, and line it with beautiful cotton fabric for strength. Top it off with an amazing button, and you’re ready to go!

Yarn: Worsted (#4) weight. Shown here: Ella Rae Phoenix (100% Egyptian cotton; 182 yd [166 m]/100g): #42 Copper Canyon, 5 hanks.

Hooks: Size I/9 (5.5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain gauge. Size H/8 (5 mm) or one size smaller than gauge hook.

Notions: I/9 (5.5 mm) crochet hook or size needed for gauge. ½ yd (45.5 cm) matching cotton fabric for lining inside of bag and strap.

Finished Size: 13″ tall × 12″ wide (33 × 30.5 cm); strap approx. 37″ × 1¾” (94 × 4.5 cm).

Gauge: 16 sts and 8 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in dc.
