Description

Knit these earthy socks with wonderful and intriguing texture. Enjoy the lace and cable variations finishing with a ribbed edge on the calf.

Finished Size: 7&frac14 (7&frac34, 8&frac14)” (18.5 [19.5, 21] cm) foot circumference and 8&frac12 (9&frac14, 10)” (21.5 [23.5, 25.5] cm) long from back of heel to tip of toe; foot length is adjustable. Socks shown measure 7&frac14″ (18.5 cm).
Yarn: Madelinetosh Tosh Sock (100% superwash Merino wool; 395 yd [361 m]/4.2 oz [120 g]): thyme, 1 skein.
Needles: U.S. size 1&frac12 (2.5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); stitch holder; tapestry needle.
Gauge: 32 sts and 48 rnds = 4″ (10 cm) in St st.
