Description

This sweater uses clever needle changes and circular knitting to work an undulating, staggered lace-and-cable motif as an allover pattern, without sacrificing an hourglass shape.

Finished Size: 40 (50)” bust circumference, lightly blocked. Pullover shown measures 40″, modeled with about 7″ of ease.
Yarn: Valley Yarns Valley Superwash (100% extra fine merino; 97 yd [89 m]/50 g): #913 mauve, 18 (22) balls. Yarn distributed by WEBS.
Yarn weight: #6 – Super Bulky
Gauge: 24 sts and 36 rnds = 4″ in Cables and Lace chart on size 4 needle lightly blocked; 26 sts and 40 rnds = 4″ on size 3 needle.
Needles: Sizes 2 (2.75 mm), 3 (3.25 mm), and 4 (3.5 mm): 36″ circulars (cir). Size 2 (2.75 mm): set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); stitch holders; waste yarn.
