Finished Size: Hat: 19 ¾ (21 ¾)” circumference and 8 ¼” tall. Hat shown measures 19 ¾”. Mitts: 6 ¾ (8 ¼)” hand circumference and 6 ½” tall. Mitts shown measure 8 ¼”.

Specific Yarn Used: Green Mountain Spinnery Mewesic (100% fine American wool; 180 yd [165 m]/ 2 oz [58 g]): #9395 Touch of Grey (MC), 2 skeins; #9089 Norwegian Wood (brown; CC), 1 skein.

Needles: Sizes 4 (3.5 mm) and 7 (4.5 mm): 16″ circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Marker (m); waste yarn to be used as a stitch holder; tapestry needle.

Gauge: 24 sts and 26 rnds = 4″ in charted patt on larger needle.
