Description

A plush waffle stitch knits into a flat fabric with depth on the cuffs and skirt of Nicole Reeve’s Syrup Pullover. Eyelets and texture in one allover stitch create rich drape in a surprisingly lightweight fabric to keep poet cuffs and an Empire waist wearable .

Finished Size 36½ (40½ , 45, 49, 53½ )” bust circumference. Sweater shown measures 36½ “, modeled with ½” positive ease.
Yarn Lorna’s Laces Green Line Worsted (100% organic merino; 210 yd [½ m]/113 g): courage (orange), 7 (7, 8, 9, 10) skeins.
Yarn Weight #3 – Light
Needles Body and sleeves size 7 (4.5 mm). Ribbing size 5 (3.75 mm): 16″ circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle.
Gauge 21 sts and 28 rows = 4″ in St st on larger needles; 17 sts and 48 rows = 4″ in waffle patt on larger needles.
