This lightweight poncho works up fast to create a versatile garment that can be worn in half a dozen ways. Worked in a sock-weight yarn, this light cover features mesh that balances the solid-stitch section for an all-season garment perfect for an afternoon in town or at work as an alternative to the office sweater.

Finished Size: 36″ wide and 36″ long.
Yarn: Wisdom Yarns Poems Sock (75% superwash wool, 25% nylon; 459 yd [420 m]/3 ½ oz [100 g]): # 951 smoke & mirrors (black, white, and gray), 2 skeins.
Yarn Weight:#2 – Fine
Hook: Size I/9 (5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Gauge: 15 sts and 12 rows = 4″ in esc, blocked.
