Description

This project may be a little time-consuming, but it’s well worth it! You can use different types of metal: roll-printed, letter stamped, hammered, or etched. These can help develop the remarkable elements of this original Swivel Locket and make it 100% your own! No matter the occasion, the techniques featured will most certainly knock everyone’s socks off!

Required Materials:
(a) Cabochon gemstone, (b) 20 or 22-gauge sterling silver (c) 10 gauge (2.4 mm OD) or silver stubbing (d) bezel wire.


Tools Needed:
HAND TOOLS: Awl, brass slide gauge, bench anvil
or block, bench vise, burnisher, dividers, dapping
punches, dapping block and drill bits.
OPTIONAL TOOLS: Circle cutter, fl ex shaft, hydraulic
press, matrix dies, and tumble polisher or pin finisher.
