Description

A dramatic feather-and-fan panel makes a pointed back hem in this unusual hooded cardigan. The hood, fronts, and back are worked from the top down, while sleeves are worked from the bottom up.

Finished Size: 15½ (17½, 19½, 21½, 23½, 25½)” back width. Cardigan shown measures 17½”.
Yarn: Fibra Natura Llamalini (40% royal llama, 35% silk bourette, 25% linen; 109 yd [100 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]): #112 Caspian, 8 (9, 10, 10, 11, 12) skeins.
Needles Size: 7 (4.5 mm): straight and 36″ circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); removable m; stitch holders; tapestry needle.
Gauge: 16 sts and 22 rows = 4″ in St st.
