Simple stitches and colorful yarn comes together to create a functional and stylish purse. Designed with a built-in secret pocket, this purse is made in pieces and utilizes the intarsia crochet technique to create a unique project.

Finished Size: 11″ wide along bottom
edge, 6 1/2 ” wide at top edge, and 9 1/2 ”
tall (not including straps).

Yarn: Schoppel Reggae (distributed by
Skacel) (100% virgin wool; 109 yd [100 m]/
1 3/4 oz [50 g]; ): #6291 forest green
(A), 2 skeins. Schoppel Zauberball Starke
6 (distributed by Skacel) (75% superwash
wool, 25% nylon; 437 yd [400 m]/5 1/4 oz
[150 g]; ): #1701 (B), 1 skein.

Hook: Size C/2 (2.75 mm) and D/3
(3.25 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary
to obtain correct gauge.

Notions: Yarn needle; rust-proof pins.

Gauge: 20 sts and 10 rows = 4″ in dc
with A and smaller hook. 22 dc and 12
rows = 4″ with B and smaller hook.
