Use both hot and cold connections to create this warmly colored carnelian and silver station necklace.

Materials Needed to Complete this Project:

  • 24g sterling silver sheet, approximately 1" square 
  • Bezel wire, fine silver, 28g serrated, ?" or 3⁄16" high 
  • 14g sterling silver wire, half-round (for bail), 3" 
  • 20g sterling silver wire, half-round, 1.5" (as an inner bezel), 2" (optional)
  • 14g sterling silver wire, half-round, annealed (for wire wrapping), allow up to 18" 
  • Carnelian cabochon, 12mm x 5mm dome  
  • Carnelian cabochon, 16mm x 5mm dome 
  • Argentium sterling silver round wire, 24g, dead soft, 5"
  • Argentium sterling silver round wire, 18g, dead soft, 6" (for S clasp) 
  • Argentium SS or sterling silver jump rings, soldered, 6mm I.D. (for S clasp closure)
  • Carnelian faceted round beads, 10mm, 6 
  • Carnelian tumbled beads, 12mm, 6 
  • Swarovski crystal pearls, round 8mm, Iridescent Red, 8 
  • Sunstone rondelle and carnelian round beads, 4-5mm, 18
