Description

These mittens were designed with a pocket perfectly sized for a mass-transit system pass card. A twisted-rib cuff seals out the wind.

Finished Size: 8″ hand circumference and 10 ½” long from cuff CO to tip of fingers. To fit a woman’s medium to large hand.
Yarn: Cascade 220 (100% wool; 220 yd [201 m]/100 g): #4008 maroon, 1 skein.
Yarn weight: #4 – Medium
Gauge: 20 sts and 28 rows = 4″ in St st in the rnd on larger needles.
Needles: Sizes 5 (3.5 mm) and 7 (4.5 mm): double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); one ¾” button; tapestry needle.
