Perfect for intermediate knitters, the Stratus Shawl is a fun project that will remind you of melting snow. Cozy up under this warm shawl when a spring breeze picks up or layer it for a chic daytime outfit. The shawl is worked back and forth from the top down.

Finished size: 45″ wide and 45″ tall.

Yarn: Brooklyn Tweed Arbor (100% American Targhee wool; 145 yd [132 m]/13/4 oz [50 g]): Gale (light gray, A), Humpback (dark gray, B), and Kettle (black, C), 3 balls each.

Needles: Size 7 (4.5 mm): 40″ circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Markers (m); tapestry needle.

Gauge: 15 sts and 241/2 rows = 4″ in patt from Chart B; 15 sts and 34 rows = 4″ in garter st.
