At first glance, the Stratiform Coat is a simple garter-stitch jacket. However, it also has sophisticated details such as the garter-rib edgings and the textured twisted-garter-stitch body. Finished Size: 19 ¾ (21 ¾, 23 ½, 26 ¼, 28 ¼, 29 ¾, 32, 34)” back width at underarm. Coat shown measures 19 ¾” on model with 32″ bust.

Specific Yarn Used: Halcyon Yarn Norumbega (100% wool; 160 yd [146 m]/4 oz [113 g]): #3640 Ice Blue, 11 (12, 13, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20) skeins.

Needles Size: 8 (5 mm): 32″ circular (cir). Sizes 4 (3.5 mm) and 6 (4 mm): 16″ cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Markers (m); stitch holders; three 1″ buttons; tapestry needle.

Gauge:17 sts and 35 rows = 4″ in Twisted Garter st on largest needle.
