Description

Essentially a rectangle of shells, Ellen K. Gormley’s simply elegant shrug is equally at ease with a dress or jeans. The yarn’s alpaca lends warmth on chilly evenings, while the Tencel gives drape to the bell sleeves.

Finished Size: Sizes XS (S, M, L, XL, 2X) with 14 (14½, 15½, 16, 17, 17½)” upper arm circumference and 55 (56, 58, 60, 64, 66)” in length. Garment shown is XS.
Yarn: Alpaca With a Twist Punch (46% alpaca, 46% Tencel, 8% nylon; 137 yd [126 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]; ): #4007 lime, 7 (7, 8, 8, 9, 9) balls.
Yarn Weight: #2 – Fine
Gauge: 16 sts and 10 rows = 4″ in sh patt. Hook: Size I/9 (5.5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
