Inspired by Kate McKinnon’s project on Geometric Beadwork, this pendant uses a combination of peyote and herringbone stitches to make two warped squares that fit inside each other.

Create this unique geometric necklace pendant.

Techniques: Flat and tubular spiral herringbone stitch, Flat peyote stitch and Fringe

Materials Needed to Complete This Pattern:

  • 1 purple iris size 6° seed bead
  • 3 g aqua blue Duracoat opaque 11° cylinder beads
  • 4 g silver-lined matte orange size 11° cylinder beads
  • 8 g midnight purple luster opaque size 11° cylinder beads
  • 5 g matte black size 11° cylinder beads
  • Smoke 6 lb FireLine braided beading thread
  • 1 gold-plated 6x8mm magnetic clasp
  • Thread conditioner

    • Tools Needed to Complete This Project:

  • Scissors
  • Size 12 sharp (short) beading needle
  • Beading awl
