Yarn: Manos del Uruguay Fino (distributed by Fairmount Fibers) (70% merino wool, 30% silk; 490 yd [450 m]/31/2 oz [100 g]; ): #413 rosewater, 2 hanks.

Hook: Size C/2 (2.75 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary, to obtain correct gauge.

Notions: 4″ cardboard square, 1; yarn needle.

Gauge: 24 sts = 4″ wide and 6 rnds = 1 1/4″ tall in waistband patt, blocked; 1 mesh patt rep with 10 ch-2 sps and 9 rnds = 4″, blocked.
