Description

Work with jump rings and metal blanks to build your stamping skills and create a personalized bib style necklace.

Required Materials:

  • 15/16″ stamping blanks of various
  • configurations: 15
  • Clasp
  • 18 gauge 3/16″ diameter jump rings in silver, copper or brass: 28-30
  • 12″ or so of chain

Tools:

  • FABRICATION AND HAND: 1.25mm hole punch pliers or #54 drill bit, flex shaft, 2 pair of chain nose pliers
  • STAMPING: steel bench block, brass mallet, Steady Stamp, metal stamps — I used ImpressArt Ballroom Boogie
    3mm lowercase stamp set, safety glasses
  • LAYOUT: circle template, notebook paper, Sharpie® fine and ultra-fine point markers, dividers, cotton swabs, nail
    polish remover or acetone
  • Technique: stamping and working with jump rings
