The details in the gorgeous St. Machar Wrap were inspired by the architecture of the cathedral of the same name in the designer’s town of Aberdeen, Scotland. Framed on four sides by garter stitch, this wrap is worked back and forth from one end to the other in two colors.

Specific Yarn Used: Blue Sky Fibers Baby Alpaca (100% baby alpaca; 110 yd [100 m]/ 1 ¾ oz [50 g]): #542 Currant (A) and #507 Natural Light Gray (B), 5 skeins each.

Needles: Size 4 (3.5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Tapestry needle.

Gauge: 24 sts and 25 rows = 4″ in charted patt.
