Description

A spicy edge frames this updated cardigan, with lines of ribbing that lengthen the body and accentuate the bust. Three-quarter-length set-in sleeves give it a tailored look. Worn solo or with the shell, this versatile piece moves easily from work to a casual outing.

Finished Size: 33 (37, 41, 45, 49)” bust circumference, buttoned. Garment shown measures 37″, modeled with 31/2″ ease.
Yarn: Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend (distributed by Fairmount Fibers) (70% extrafine merino, 30% silk; 150 yds [137 m]/13/4 oz [50 g]; ): #300C powder (MC), 7 (8, 9, 10, 11) skeins; #3202 zinnia (CC), 1 skein.
Hook: Size H/8 (5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: Yarn needle; 6 (6, 6, 7, 7) 3/4″ buttons.
Gauge: 18 sts and 10 rows = 4″ in hdc blo, blocked.
