Description

The designer worked this scarf twice. The first time she worked the hat by itself in simple half double crochet, and she added the squiggles (lamb’s tails) later. The second time, she worked the squiggles as tails as she went. Either way, the combination of the vibrant colors of the yarn with the jaunty curling tails makes a great hat.

Finished Size: 22″ (56 cm) circumference. To fit an adult.
Yarn: Koigu Premium Merino (100% merino; 175 yd [160 m]/50 g): #124 dark blue/red mix, 2 skeins.
Yarn weight: #1 – Super Fine
Gauge: 21 sts and 24 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in half double crochet.
Needles: Hooks: Size C/2 (2.75 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Tapestry needle.
