Description

This simple openwork spring hat is worked in a spiral alternating two colors seamlessly without fastening off, which eliminates any pooling effect from working with variegated yarns. Casual, pretty, and comfortable, it is stretchy and roomy enough to fit even larger-size heads and looks just as pretty inside-out as it does right-side out.

Finished Size: 23″ circumference, 8″ top to bottom.
Yarn: Colinette Banyan (51% viscose, 49% cotton; 112 yd [102 m]/13?4 oz [50 g]; ): #76 lichen (MC), 1 skein; #103 Cezanne (CC), 1 skein. Yarn distributed by Unique Kolours.
Yarn weight: #3 – Light.
Gauge: 18 sts and 14 rnds = 4″ in alternating rnds of sc and (dc, ch-1).
Hook: Size F/5 (3.75 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
