Create this ring with a wider band and enjoy texturing the ring and stamping inspirational words/phrases, and mixing metals! It is recommended that you do a practice ring with a copper sheet before attempting to work with sterling silver.

Finished Size: 1/2″ wide band
Required Materials:

  • 22- or 24-gauge dead soft sheet metal, 3″ x ½” rectangle
  • 14-gauge dead soft wire or thicker, 3″
  • Ring mandrel
  • Rotary tumbler and stainless steel shot

Tools: Ring mandrel; Large Wrap N Tap pliers 13 /16 /20mm; Metal hole-punch pliers; Metal shears; Long eyelets to match hole size of metal hole punch pliers; Dapping punches; Metal file; Chasing hammer; Riveting hammer; Nylon or rawhide hammer; Steel bench block; Steel wool; Liver of sulfur or blackening solution
