Description
Dramatic cables are achieved by working short-rows over the “strand” stitches and putting those stitches on hold while the second strand is worked.
Finished Size: 31 ½ (35 ¼, 39, 43 ¼, 47)” bust circumference. Pullover shown measures 31 ½”, modeled with no positive ease.
Yarn: Classic Elite Yarns Majestic Tweed (40% wool, 20% angora, 20% silk, 20% nylon; 110 yd [101 m]/1 ¾ oz [50 g]): #7258 cherry pie, 8 (9, 10, 12, 13) skeins.
Needles: Body and cabled hip band – size 8 (5 mm): 24-40” circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Collar – size 7 (4.5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); removable m; stitch holders; waste yarn for provisional CO; tapestry needle; four 1 ¼” buttons.
Gauge: 17 sts and 25 rnds = 4” in St st on larger needle.
