Southwest Spirit Etched Pendant Project Download

Description

Share in this artist’s inspiration from the elegant, symbolic, and timeless designs of the Southwest. Influenced by a shard of Tularosa Black on White pottery produced by the Mogollon culture of western New Mexico, this designer blended soldering, measuring, and stone setting to create a magnificent jewelry. Take your piece even further by adding depth to your piece by etching your own copper plate.

Required Materials: 1 piece of etched copper 20 gauge, 1 circle of sterling silver or sterling sheet (2 x 2″ 20 gauge), 0.33″ x 1″ 20 or 22 gauge sterling, 2.25″ x 0.50″ cabochon, 22 gauge fine silver sheet (0.25″ x 5+”), 0.25″ sterling tubing (outer diameter) 3mm, 1″ 20 gauge sterling wire. Tools Needed: Circle template, fine tip Sharpie, saw, sawblades, files, wooden, dapping block and punches (wooden daps), rawhide mallet or planishing hammer, round and flatnose pliers, bezel pusher, alphabet stamps or logo stamp and -sterling- quality stamp. See project for complete list
