Description

This stunning necklace is called Sonya, a Russian name meaning wisdom. Use an inventive variation of Russian spiral for the strap and frame the crystals with peyote stitch. If you’re interested in learning a new variation of a familiar stitch, then this necklace is perfect for you!

Required Materials:

10 g nickel silver size 15° Japanese seed beads, 5 g metallic royal blue/teal iris size 11° cylinder beads, about 450 jet AB 3mm fire-polished rounds, and 4 jet AB 6mm fire-polished rounds.

Tools Needed:

Size 12 or 13 beading needles, and scissors.
