Description

A soft, luxurious yarn makes this simple knit beret extra appealing. The slouchy hat silhouette and easy eyelet stripe pattern is attractive and engaging to knit.

Finished Size: 16 ¾ (19 ¼, 21 ½)” brim circumference, to fit 18-20 (22, 24)” head. Hat shown measures 19 ¼”.
Yarn: Lorna’s Laces Angel (70% angora, 30% wool; 50 yd [46 m]/14 g): fjord, 3 (3, 4) skeins.
Yarn Weight: #3 – Light
Needles: Sizes 5 (3.75 mm) and 6 (4 mm): set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Marker (m); tapestry needle.
Gauge: 20 sts and 28 rnds = 4″ in St st on larger needles.
