Materials Needed to Complete this Project:

  • 24-gauge sterling silver sheet, ¾ inch x 3.5 inches 
  • 6-inches, 20-gauge fine silver wire 
  • Steel wool 
  • Sandpaper, 400 grit 
  • Magic Solder™ powder 
  • AquiFlux

Tools Needed to Complete this Project:

  • Paint brush with fine tip
  • Small metal or glass bowl for mixing
  • Butane torch
  • Tripod with mesh
  • Fire tweezers (cross-locking are best)
  • Soldering board of choice
  • Blunt end wire cutters
  • Standard steel ring mandrel
  • Stepped ring mandrel
  • Leather/rawhide mallet
  • Wood wedge
  • Pickle pot with copper tongs
  • Fine tweezers
  • Honeycomb soldering board with pins
  • Chasing hammer
  • Bench block
  • Brass or steel mounted brush for a flex shaft
  • Metal file #2 cut
