This short sleeved pullover is knitted from the top down with a full gathered yoke and fun checkerboard stitch pattern.

Description

This
seamless yoke is worked top down. instead of her usual raglan shaping, Cathy
placed increases at sixteen evenly spaced intervals. The generous increasing
creates the full gathering in the yoke, where the ridge pattern gives way to a
plush knit and purl checker pattern.

Finished Size: Sizes 36 (40, 44, 50)” bust; shown in size 36″ with 2″ positive ease.
Yarn:
Cascade Fixation (98.3% cotton, 1.7% elastic; 100 yd [92 m]/50 g): #5606 olive,
7 (8, 9, 10) balls.
Yarn Weight: #3 – Light
Needles:
Size 7 (4.5 mm): 16″ and 29″ circular (cir) needles. Adjust needle sizes if
necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions:
Markers (m), yarn needle.
Gauge:
25 sts and 40 rows = 4″ in checkerboard patt.
