Bezel setting and bail fabrication for a pendant.

Description

This setting and bail were created for the opal intarsia pendant. You can make a similar intarsia by following the steps in “Opal Intarsia Pendant,” by Tom and Kay Benham, Part I in June 2002 and Part II in the July 2002 Lapidary Journal Jewelry Artist.

Required Materials: fine silver bezel strip, silver sheet, flux, silver solder, third hand, pickle pot, emery paper. See project for complete list.
Tools Needed: Jeweler’s saw frame/blades, jeweler’s files, bezel roller, burnisher, pencil, soft brass brush. See project for complete list.
