Shawl Vigne Crochet Pattern Download

This versatile shawl by Natasha Robarge has a traditional shape but is made modern with the addition of a second color. Adventurous crocheters could create a different border using Irish crochet or Romanian cord crochet techniques for a lush free-form frame. The main body stitch pattern is easily memorized, making this a great on-the-go project.

Finished Size: 70" wide x 25" long (178 x 66 cm). The size of the shawl can be adjusted in 8-row increments of the main pattern.
Yarn Weight:
Laceweight (# 0 Lace).
Hook: Size G/6 (4 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: Yarn needle.
Gauge: First 2 rows of shawl pattern = 3" (7.5 cm) wide x 1¼" (3.2 cm) tall. 2 reps in shawl pattern = 3½" (9 cm); 11 rows = 4" (10 cm) blocked. Gauge is not critical.
