Description

Waves of shells elevate this basic market bag to a stylish tote, as well as providing additional sturdiness with its solid double-crochet bottom. It’s perfect for toting toys to the beach or for picking up goodies around town.

Finished Size: 12″ wide and 7 ½” tall unstretched.
Yarn: Blue Sky Alpacas Skinny Dyed Cotton (100% cotton; 150 yd [137 m]/2 ½ oz [65 g]; ): #310 dark brown (MC), 2 skeins; #301 light blue (CC), 1 skein.
Yarn weight: #4 – Medium, #3 – Light
Gauge: 12″ diameter; 2 ch-5 sps and 5 rows = 2″ for mesh body. Gauge is not critical for this project.
Hook: Size 7 (4.5mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: Yarn needle.
