Description

Inspired by tumultuous mountain waterfalls, the demure-from-the front Seaglass Shell surprises from the back: the fabric drops away into a low back, revealing a separate panel of misty lace.

Finished Size 33 1/2 (37 1/2, 41, 46, 50, 53 1/2, 57 1/2, 61)” circumference at underarm. Top shown measures 41″; modeled with 43/4″ of positive ease.

Yarn Manos del Uruguay Serena (60% baby alpaca, 40% pima cotton; 170 yd [155 m]/13/4 oz [50 g]): #S2550 Seal, 4 (5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8) skeins. Yarn distributed by Fairmount Fibers.

Needles Size 5 (3.75 mm): straight. Size 4 (3.5 mm): 16″ and 24″ circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle.

Gauge 23 sts and 30 rows = 4″ in St st on larger needles; 23 sts and 30 rows = 4″ in Rivulet Lace patt on smaller needle.
