The Sandy Cardigan is an easy-to-wear wardrobe staple with a pretty allover boxy lace pattern. It’s perfect to take with you when you know you might be subject to some serious air-conditioning.

Finished Size: 18 ¼ (19 ¾ , 21¼ , 23 ¼ , 26 ¼ , 28 ¼ )" back width. Cardigan shown measures 19 ¾ " on model with 32 ½ " bust.

Yarn Weight: 1

Specific Yarn Used: Purl Soho Cattail Silk (100% silk; 618 yd [565 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #8020 wood mouse, 2 (2, 3, 3, 3, 4) skeins.

Needles: Size 2 ½ (3 mm): 32" circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Sizes 3 (3.25 mm), 4 (3.5 mm), 5 (3.75 mm), and 6 (4 mm): 32" cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Marker (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle.

Gauge: 21 sts and 33 rows = 4" in patt on size 6 needle; 24 sts and 40 rows = 4" in patt on size 3 needle.
