Description

The ROPED SHELL’s slip-stitch boxes force narrow horizontal color stripes to curve slightly and create rolling, rippling lines. The designer finds the perfect echo with rich cable trims at the hem and neck. Narrow slip-stitch columns hide the end-of-round jog.

Finished Size: 30 ¾ (33 ¾, 37, 40, 43, 46 ¼, 49 ¼)” bust circumference. Tank shown measures 33 ¾”. See Notes about sizing and fit.
Yarn: Filatura di Crosa Luxury (100% silk; 160 yd [146 m]/50 g): #37 cappuccino (MC), 3 (3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 5) skeins; #42 wine (CC), 2 (2, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4) skeins. Yarn distributed by Tahki Stacy Charles. (#42 has been discontinued, color #15 recommended as substitute.)
Yarn weight: #2 – Fine
Gauge: 26 sts and 34 rows = 4″ in patt st, after blocking.
Needles: Size 4 (3.5 mm): 24″ to 40″ circular (cir), depending on selected size, and 2 double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Small stitch holders and large stitch holder or spare cir needle; cable needle (cn); markers (m); waste yarn for provisional CO; tapestry needle.
