Description

The Roosevelt Cardigan was inspired by menswear, but its subtle waist shaping and traveling cables, which emphasize an hourglass shape, lend a feminine touch. Deep front pockets are tucked under patterning for a seamless look.

Finished Size: Finished Size 35 1/2 (38, 41, 45 1/2, 49, 54)” bust circumference, buttoned. Cardigan shown measures 38″, modeled with 4″ of positive ease

Yarn: YYarn Tahki Yarns Tara Tweed (80% wool, 20% nylon; 122 yd [112 m]/1 3/4 oz [50 g]): #009 moss tweed, 11 (12, 13, 14, 16, 18) balls. Yarn distributed by Tahki-Stacy Charles Inc.

Yarn Weight: #4 – Medium

Needles: Needles Sizes 6 (4 mm) and 7 (4.5 mm): 32″ circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Notions Markers (m); cable needle (cn); stitch holders; tapestry needle; five 7/8″ buttons.

Gauge: Gauge 18 sts and 28 rows = 4″ in St st on larger needle.
