Description

Work back and forth with a provisional cast-on to create this knitted cowl pattern. Graft in pattern and enjoy the outdoorsy color of the cowl.

Designer: Moira Engel

Difficulty: Easy

Finished Size: 64" circumference and 10.5" wide.

Specific Yarn Used: SweetGeorgia Yarns Superwash Worsted (100% superwash merino wool; 200 yd [183 m]/4 oz [113 g]): walnut, 4 skeins.

Needles: Size 7 (4.5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Markers (m); waste yarn for provisional CO; cable needle (cn); stitch holder; tapestry needle.

Gauge: 29 sts of Right Cable chart = 4.25" wide; 27 rows = 4" in patt.

Notes: This cowl is worked back and forth in one piece beginning with a provisional cast-on. The two short ends are grafted together in pattern.
