Description

Carefully restrained details add to the Ribbons and Lace Cardigan’s vintage charm. Connie Chang Chinchio uses inset lace panels at the front edges and back skirt, a built-in casing for a twisted-cord closure, and a subtly modified A-line silhouette to build a versatile, unfussy piece.

Finished Size: 32 ½ (34 ¾, 38 ¼, 42, 45 ½, 50)” bust circumference, without fronts overlapping. Cardigan shown measures 34 ¾”, modeled with minimal positive ease.
Yarn: Blue Sky Alpacas Skinny Dyed (100% cotton; 150 yd [138 m]/65 g): #304 zinc (purple), 6 (7, 7, 8, 8, 9) skeins.
Yarn Weight: #3 – Light
Needles: Sizes 5 (3.75 mm) and 4 (3.5 mm): 36″ circulars (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Tapestry needle; stitch holders; markers (set of 3 different colors).
Gauge: 22 sts and 32 rows = 4″ in St st on larger needle.
