Description

Columns of zigzagging eyelets are interspersed with columns of stockinette stitch to create these handsome yet comfortable ribbed socks. The undulating pattern swirls the colors around and creates vertical visual interest. You won’t be satisfied with making just one pair of these truly fantastic socks!

Finished Size: About 8 (9)” (20 [22.5] cm) foot circumference and about 8X” (22 cm) long from back of heel to tip of toe.
Yarn: Fingering weight (#1 Super Fine). Shown here: Koigu Painter’s Palette Premium Merino (100% wool, 175 yd [160 m]/50 g): #P530, 2 skeins.
Needles: U.S. size 2 (2.75 mm): set of 4 double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Marker (m); tapestry needle.
Gauge: 15 stitches and 18 rounds = 2″ (5 cm) in stockinette stitch worked in the round.
