Look at this gorgeous polymer clay pendant that bursts with rhinestone-centered purple flowers! It was made with the utmost attention to detail by artist Jennifer Morris. When I saw it on her website, I knew I had to have it.


But how do you show off such an ornate bead without overwhelming it? My solution was to suspend the pendant from a piece of gold chain (to match the pendant’s gold bail), quietly interrupted by small amethyst crystal links (to match the purples in the pendant) that add a hint of color but don’t distract from the showpiece. An elegant vermeil lobster clasp adds the perfect finishing touch.
