Description

Here is a versatile sterling silver prong setting that works for both asymmetrical and standard-shaped cabochons making it ideal for so many pieces. It is quick, simple, economical, and actually has a built-in bail. This graceful wire setting is reversible, with one side appearing completely different from the other. This beginner/intermediate project includes step-by-step photographs.

Required Materials: Solder (not lead), soldering brick, wire, cabochon stone or fused glass, detergent and brass brush/scrubbing pad. See project for complete list.
