Description

Designer Chloe Nightingale has explored tapestry crochet (also called Jaquard crochet) for years, as it provides a sturdy fabric and a nice way of working with colors that doesn’t involve weaving in a lot of ends. This roomy bag has a simple construction and a bold pyramid shape that contrasts with the V-shape made as the bag slopes up into the strap.

Finished Size: 14″ wide and 12″ high (to top of V); strap is 3″ wide and 14″ long.
Yarn: Plymouth Fantasy Naturale (100% cotton; 140 yd [128 m]/31?2 oz [100 g]; ): #3794 raspberry (MC), 3 skeins; #8011 lime (CC), 2 skeins.
Yarn weight: #4 – Medium.
Gauge: 15 sts and 17 rows = 4″ in sc tapestry crochet with 1 color carried.
Hook: Size G/7 (4.5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
