Description

This contemporary woolen is an uptown interpretation of the polar fleece vests so popular with outdoorsy types. It features a short length, elegant twisted ribs to gently pull in the sides, a mandarin collar, and front zipper. Worked at less than four stitches to the inch, it knits up very quickly.

Finished Size: 38 (42, 46, 50)” (96.5 [106.5, 117, 127] cm) bust/chest circumference, zipped. Vest shown measures 42″ (106.5 cm).
Yarn: GGH Via Mala (100% Merino; 74 yd [68 m]/50 g): #24 cornflower 7 (7, 8, 10) balls.
Yarn weight: #4 – Medium
Gauge: 15 sts and 22 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in St st.
Needles: Edging-Size 8 (5 mm). Body-Size 10 (6 mm). Adjust needle sizes if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Tapestry needle; size G/6 (4.25-mm) crochet hook; coordinating separating zipper; matching sewing thread; sewing needle.
