For this scarf the designer has translated the traditional quilt pattern “Grandmother’s Flower Garden” into a light and delicate crochet motif. Colored as softly as the kid mohair blend it is made out of, the scarf would make a very special gift. But then, who deserves it more than you?

Finished Size: 11″ (28 cm) wide and 41″ (104 cm) long.
Yarn: Crystal Palace Kid Merino (28% kid mohair, 28% merino, 44% micro nylon; 240 yd [200 m]/1 ¾ oz [25 g]): #4681 misty blue (MC), 2 skeins; #4670 fog green (A), #4686 strawberry soda (B), #4684 copper (C), #4672 berry (D), #4673 espresso (E), #4676 pacific blue (F), and #4683 canyon (G), 1 skein each. Yarn weight: #0 – Lace
Gauge: Each motif = 2 ¾” (7 cm) in diameter, after joining. Note: A single motif, created for gauge purposes, will measure about 2 ½” (6.5 cm) in diameter; however, when the motifs are joined, there is a tendency for them to stretch lengthwise.
Needles: Hooks: Size C/2 (2.75 mm). Adjust hook size as necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
